Lisa Fussell — President & Office Manager
Lisa Fussell has served as President and Office Manager of Fussell Well Drilling since 2007, when she and her husband Tim took over the family business her father-in-law started — just before the Great Recession tested their resolve and shaped how they run things today. Behind the scenes, Lisa keeps the company running: payroll, HR, estimating, invoicing, permitting, scheduling, dispatching, bookkeeping, and customer service all pass through her hands, along with oversight of benefits, advertising, and compliance. A retired RN, she's passionate about staying strong and mobile, and now spends her free time weightlifting. Her guiding philosophy — that feelings, like clouds, always pass — keeps her grounded in the moment, whether she's helping a customer or steering the business forward. Above all, Lisa is proud of the hard work and care her team puts into every job, at a price that's fair.
Tim Fussell — Vice President & Field Operations Manager
Tim Fussell was born and raised in Polk County and has spent 25 years in the well drilling industry, taking over Fussell Well Drilling from his father in 2007. He's a licensed water well contractor and holds a CDL. As Vice President and Field Operations Manager, Tim keeps the crews running day-to-day — maintaining and repairing equipment, spotting well locations, troubleshooting issues in the field, and making sure the team has what it needs to get the job done right. With deep, hands-on knowledge of drilling throughout Polk County, he helps clients choose the right system to meet their needs. For Tim, the best part of the job is simple: meeting new customers and getting to know them.
Caleb Fussell — Drilling Supervisor
Caleb is a 5th-generation well driller who grew up around the family business, tagging along with his dad and brother Cody on calls and jobs long before he officially joined the company in 2018. As Drilling Supervisor, he oversees the drilling crews — making sure they have what they need each day, helping troubleshoot problems in the field, assisting with rig maintenance, and drilling wells himself. He holds a CDL and is working to get his water well contractor license. Outside of work, his priorities are simple: church and family. He loves the trade because water is essential — and he takes pride in educating customers about their well systems along the way. For Caleb, the best part of the job is getting to work alongside family and friends every day.
Cody Fussell — Service Crew Supervisor
Cody Fussell is a 5th-generation well driller and a retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer. He returned home in 2024 after 10 years of service to be closer to family and joined Fussell Well Drilling full-time. As Service Crew Supervisor, he oversees the service crew — making sure they have what they need each day, helping troubleshoot problems in the field, and repairing and designing water well systems. Outside of work, Cody hobby-jumps between interests often — chances are, whatever you're into, he's tried a little of it too. He's lived his life with a service-focused mindset and brings that same mindset to every well system he works on. He treats each customer's out-of-water emergency with the same trust and confidence he'd want for his own family if they had called when he was deployed.
Bailey Fussell — Marketing Director
Bailey first joined Fussell Well Drilling in 2022 and left in 2023 to finish her degree at the University of Florida, before returning in 2026. She didn't grow up in the well drilling world, but she's embraced learning the business. As Marketing Director, Bailey leads marketing and advertising and focuses on customer satisfaction. She also pitches in wherever needed — from pulling permits and entering well completion reports to follow-up and collection calls — supporting the crews in the field and Lisa in the office. Outside of work, she puts God first, then family — including her two young daughters, whom she adores. She enjoys riding horses and even holds her private pilot's license. Bailey loves being part of the family business and helping provide something as essential as clean water — a resource that's easy to take for granted.
Darian Fussell — Executive Assistant
Darian is the newest addition to the Fussell Well Drilling team, joining in 2026 as Executive Assistant. In this role, she supports Lisa in the daily administrative and operational management of the office — providing overflow coverage, administrative follow-through, field coordination, office support, and scheduling assistance to help keep things running smoothly for the whole team. Born in Central Florida and raised in Tennessee, Darian married Cody in 2015 and is the proud mom of two daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys pottery and watercolor painting. As she puts it: "I'm a firm believer that kindness and hard work can take you a long way."
